Here is an antique American COIN SILVER CRUMBER from the 19th century VICTORIAN ERA. This is a highly decorated COIN SILVER (900 silver) UTENSIL used for picking up crumbs and table scraps, possibly something a waiter would use to clean the tablecloth.. . . . . This coin silver item is approximately 11 and three-quarter inches long and weighs approximately 4.1 Troy ounces. It is nicely hand-engraved, chased and engine turned, with a few BRIGHT CUTS. There is a fancy engraved monogram on the back of the handle with the letters MAW. This piece is in overall excellent, used condition with minor surface scratches to be expected from use.
