We are pleased to present a coin silver dessert spoon crafted by J. Gorham & Son of  Providence, RI.  There is a monogram on the front handle that provides the family name of E. A. Plummer. This Plummer
    may have been an artist
    doing a primitive style
    portrait
in the era about this time.   It dates from ca. 1845 and is in very good estate condition with typical minor surface scratches and a crisp bowl tip.  It measure  7 1/8" long and weighs 22.9 grams.  The pictures are part of the description and all items are presented as found.
