Original first season script for one of the all time classic comedies, THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.  Starring Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam, and created by Carl Reiner.
This is a 38 page pink draft dated December 19, 1961.  The episode, THE BAD OLD DAYS, features so many special effects such as the use of speeding up film, that this episode holds the distinction of being the only one in the entire series that was not filmed in front of a studio audience.  Someone wrote "27" on the front cover below the title, presumably the 27th show to film.
Created by Carl Reiner, scripts to this show are incredibly rare as the series is now over 50 years old, and this particular script will be 60 years old toward the end of the year.
