    Description

    For sale is a set of four American coin silver KINGS pattern table forks by Orlando Forsyth of New York City, ca 1835.  The forks are 8 inches long and together weigh 288 grams.  The forks have wide upturned KINGS pattern handles, stuck on both sides as shown.  A monogram was removed from the handle fronts.  They are all marked [FORSYTH] with an “X” journeyman’s mark.
    Condition on the forks is fairly good. A small monogram was removed from the handle fronts at some point, but it was fairly well done.  Otherwise there is just normal wear from use, with just very minor tine wear.  Some fine old forks!
