Offered in this listing is a glazed pottery
pitcher with sleek retro style perfect for summertime entertaining.
An estate sale find, it
has a shiny glaze of cream with a lighthearted yellow, beige and orange floral 'Largo' design near the top rim.
The maker is Universal Cambridge of Cambridge, Ohio and it has the circular maker's gold mark as pictured on the bottom. It also says the pitcher is "oven proof."
The pitcher measures 6" tall x 10" width from spout tip to handle end with a bottom diameter of about 3-1/2" x 7" diameter at the widest part and it weighs about 2 pounds 1 ounce.  The liquid capacity is 2 quarts. Condition is quite good with subtle crackles or crazing in the cream glaze that can be seen in the supersized photos. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some clouding in the glaze near the base and inside.
This vintage Largo pattern pitcher would look great on the table or as part of a collection.
